Cheers to the first blog!

Hey there, I am Taylor McGee – and welcome to Bountiful Glimmer!

I have always been drawn to cultivating spaces where people feel seen, uplifted, inspired, and loved. Whether through events, writing, conversations, or gathering around a table (for a bowl of ice cream, of course), I love helping visions come to life and finding little and big joy in the process. This blog is my way of extending that same spirit into a space we can all share.

Here, I hope you will find reflections on creativity, community, and the meaningful little moments that make life feel abundant. I will share ideas, stories, and glimpses of beauty that I dream will spark something in you too – whether that is encouragement, inspiration, or simply a reminder that you are not alone in seeking more light in your day to day life. It is my desire that you will embrace the kind of joy that lasts longer than a quick scroll.

The name Bountiful Glimmer comes from my days working in Summer Camp Events. However, it also connects with my belief that God gives us countless small “glimmers” each day – conversations that linger, kindness that shifts the trajectory of a day, creativity that fills us with purpose, and so much more. Abundance is not about having or doing it all…it is about noticing the magic in what is already around you. Sometimes it is in the warmth of gathering with people you love. Sometimes it is in the quiet or in creating something with your own two hands. Sometimes it is choosing to step into a new chapter with faith and courage. Whatever it is, I hope we can find that abundance together!

Every life is full of sparks…moments of joy, creativity, meaning, and connection. These moments remind us of what really matters. This space is my corner of the internet that seeks to celebrate those sparks and hopefully help you notice more of them in your own life.

I don’t know exactly what all will come from this journey, but I know it is better when we are all in it together. So, thank you for being here at the very beginning. I pray you find glimmers of your own in these words, and maybe even sparkle back at me along the way.

Here is to the little pieces of confetti that fall just when we need them. May you each notice the bountiful glimmers of today.

Cheers!

Taylor McGee
